I don't know about you, but I have NO DOUBT it's summer. Between the heat and humidity and so many fun things going on in our community, summer is in full swing. Be sure to go to the guides section of our website to see all the great events planned for July here locally!
As I mentioned a few months ago, I am now the publisher of the Macaroni KID Owensboro/Henderson/Madisonville website as well as Evansville. I have loved getting to know everything going on south of the river. Recently, I was invited to the Longest Day Of Play in one of Owensboro's beautiful parks. I met so many people who were there with kids, grandkids, families plus local businesses and organizations who are in the Owensboro area. I was excited to find out the resources available as well as the positive feedback from families saying that they love the many opportunities available for play as well as services they can use.
I'd love to find out more--my goal with Macaroni KID on both sides of the river is to be a go-to for anyone with children. Whether you're a parent, grandparent, caregiver or teacher, I would like to highlight what you find valuable in the community. There is no charge to highlight a non-profit or school-based program that provides programs for children and families.
